Mike (@DelPieri) interviews West Ham fan and Author of Nearly Reach The Sky - A Farewell To Upton Park, Brian Williams (@BrianWill26).

A West Ham fan for the past 50 years and a Guardian journalist for  the past 25, Brian also writes a regular column for online blog ‘West Ham Till I Die'. "Nearly Reach the Sky – A farewell to Upton Park” is an anecdotal journey through the seminal goals, games, fouls and finals, told with all the comedy, tragedy and irrationality fans of any team will recognise. This is a witty, fond, passionate and poignant tribute to the end of an era at Upton Park, as well as a universal meditation on the perks and perils of football fandom.

While West Ham may not be the subject for us all, what it contains can be appreciated in bucket loads by every football loving reader.
