For the first time since December 2021, NC State held an opponent to less than 50 points in a game in a 72-49 win over Colgate to move to 4-0 on the young season. The Wolfpack got season-high nights from Ben Middlebrooks (19 points) and Marcus Hill (17), but the rebounding performance from Dontrez Styles unlocked the Pack's extra possessions to pull away early and stay out front.
