Melchizedek points us to the superior priesthood we have been given in Jesus.

To welcome means to receive with gladness, with longing and anticipation, and to treat as a brother or sister in the family.

Christ's welcome brings the dead to life, gives strength to the weak, and hope to the desperate.

The hope we have as believers is a sure and steadfast anchor for the soul.

God desires His people to live out the full assurance of their hope in Jesus to the very end.

Comfort is found not in the successes or prestige of this world, but as we encounter the crucified and risen Christ in our weakness.

We as God's people are so securely guided with Christ as our head that there is no doubt of God's graciousness towards us, even in times of deep distress.
