We have listened and meditated on God's Word for two days. Today, let us now respond to the stirring of the Spirit in our lives. Take a moment to invite the Spirit into your heart to stir up a prayer of response to God.

Today we will take time as a community to meditate on the Living Word of God. This is the second step in our weekly Lectio Divina prayer as we continue to hear the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to stir our hearts.

We begin our practice of Lectio Divina (or divine reading), the practice of praying scripture and listening to the Holy Spirit, with the first and most important step… listening.

We have spent the last week listening to the Spirit of God, meditating on the Spirit’s voice, responding in prayer, and resting in His presence. Today we want to reflect on how the Spirit has spoken and moved throughout the last week.

We have spent the last three days listening, meditating, and responding to the Holy Spirit’s stirring within our hearts. Now we rest in the presence of the Spirit as we hear the Word of God.
