Before jumping into Wipebooks and collaborative problem-solving, both teachers focused on creating safe spaces for students to share ideas, take risks, andlearn from mistakes.

Raquel reflects, “I just had to release a little bit of the leadership and let them experiment.” This shift empowered students to take ownership of their learning and explore math in new ways.
