Key Scripture: Galatians 5

Title: UNDERSTANDING YOUR FREEDOM IN CHRIST

SCRIPTURE NOTES

• The freedom of Christ is not something that allows you to engage in both light and darkness.

• Freedom in God is governed by principles.

• Freedom means that you have to live according to certain principles and within certain constraints.

• The yoke of slavery refers to the yoke of sin.

• The yoke of circumcision is an attempt by man to reach God through his own effort.

• To be free in the Holy Ghost, one must be liberated from the yoke of sin and the traditions of men.

• A person who lives in the Holy Ghost does not need freedom because they already possess it.

• When you submit to the Holy Spirit, you can exercise your freedom in the right way.

Title: Life in the Holy Spirit & Life in the Flesh

• Life in the flesh is not a life to practice. It is a nature; it is a life that is already a part of human nature.

• Life in the flesh has no Jesus, so nothing good can come out of it.

• But the life of the Holy Spirit is not the life of an unbeliever.

• The life of the Holy Spirit is regulated by the law of the Spirit in Christ Jesus, which has given you freedom from sins and death.

• Life in the Holy Spirit is not a life that God has designed for ignorance.

• Life in the Holy Spirit gives you the desire to preach the gospel.

• Life in the Holy Spirit gives you strength, interpretation of tongues, words of knowledge and wisdom, and helps you produce a fruitful life.

• The only way God can allow us to live these lives is to heed the Holy Spirit.

• To be led by the Spirit is to read God's word.

• An unrenewed mind is a mind that will restrict the work of God.

• If you are saved and your spirit is saved, but your mind is not renewed, the life of God cannot be expressed through you.

• Every time you leave the versatility of God, sin will be knocking at your door.

Title: Freedom in Christ

• Before there is a solution, there should be a problem.

• Problems are often created by disobedience or failing to follow instructions.

• The separation of mankind from God was as a result of disobedience by one man, which affected all beings on earth.

• When the scripture says, "Let the dead bury the dead" it refers to a living being who is spiritually dead.

• The word of God is in us, and it works through us.

• So now we have freedom in Christ Jesus because he has paid the price or the penalty or wages for our sins which would have been death.

Title: Walking in the Spirit

• Walking in the spirit is to yield to the spirit and to respond to the spirit.

• Life in the spirit is what the spirit of God is able to do through us, not depending on our own strength.

• Jesus is the cure for the helplessness of man.

• Under the Law of Moses, we are condemned, but in Jesus Christ, there is no condemnation.

• Now the believer has immunity in Christ, and their position is permanent.

Title: The Origin & History of Christmas

While celebrating Christmas, our worship should come from the knowledge of God.

The shadow that symbolizes the coming of Christ (Christmas) is not the reality.

The reality of Christmas day is not the day, but is that Christ has come. We can no longer lives in the shadow while we have Christ with us.

Those who celebrates Christmas are not sinners, but the act or way they celebrate make them sinners.
