Get ready to journey into the hearts and minds of Post Primary school children from North East Dublin. Prepare to encounter the full gamut of emotions from joy to sorrow, shock, surprise, horror, fear, love, loss and gain as our young people deliver creativity at its very best! This series is compiled from stories and poems written in English and Irish by pupils from participating on a diverse range of topics. So join the pupils from St Marys Holy Faith, Killester, Ardscoil La Salle, Raheny and  Mount Temple Comprehensive School for our fantastic new 3 part Educational Radio Series The Word. Paula Wiseman chatted with Principal Kevin McArevey, whose story is documented in new movie, “Young Plato” which had it’s Irish Premiere at the Dublin Film Festival on 26th February 2022.

Kevin is the Principal in Holy Cross Boys School in Ardoyne, Belfast, who has taught the boys Philosophy from the age of 4.  He spoke about his story and also this incredible film.

 

 

 

 

 

In this episode, Paula Wiseman chatted with Professor Aonghus McNabola. He is the Lead partner and principal investigator for; Dŵr Uisce – Distributing our Water Resources: Utilising Integrated, Smart and low-Carbon Energy.

Paula chatted with Aonghus about the project which is being conducted at Trinity College Dublin, and the ultimate aims of it.  He speaks of the many ways in which the project has helped various other projects, including for the preservation of historic artifacts.
