Traditional singer Pádraig Ó Nualláin talks to NearFM’s John Connell about the songs that he sings. Pádraig collects unusual songs from the past. In this interview he speaks about Dublin life in the 18th Century and the street ballads that tell the history of the city of 18th C. Dublin. The five songs he sings are the following: The Spanish Lady, The Night Before Larry Got Stretched, The Finding Of Moses, Rags Upon The Poddle, T’is Whiskey I Adore.

On the show I was joined by Christopher Sands. Christopher is a lifetime Shelbourne fan. Christopher attended his first game in 1940 and shared some of his memories of watching Shelbourne.

Christopher also spoke to us about lifetime learning and about obtaining a master’s at the age of 65.
