Myra Gleeson speaks with members of the ‘Cormorant Kayakers’ ‘ , Conor Ryan, Breege Madden and Conal O’Flanagan. All three had just been canoeing around Ireland’s Eye and had just finished carrying their boats up the Howth Harbour Slipway. The Cormorants Kayakers members have Canoed all around Europe from Dubrovnik, Venice and Sardinia. They are dressed in Wetsuits and high-tech radio equipment. They are a very warm and pleasant group off adventurers.

Jo Morton is the Communications and Marketing Officer at the Irish Writers Centre in Dublin. The

Irish Writers Centre is the leading support and development organisation for writers across the island of

Ireland.  She joins Mary Oyediran to chat and promote the IWC Autumn Open Day 2023 on Saturday

26th August.
