Acclaimed Irish Tenor, Gavin Ring joins Adrianne Murphy to discuss his latest release called ‘Peace Upon This Land’, which was written by distinguished Irish songwriter, Brendan Graham who wrote such amazing songs as ‘You Raise Me Up’ and ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Kids’.

This song, ‘Peace Upon This Land’ is to celebrate and commemorate the 25th Aniversary of the Good Friday Agreement and is a collaboration with another beautiful Irish singer, Eimear Quinn who won the Eurovision with the song ‘The Voice’, also written by Brendan Graham.

The ASTI held their Annual Conference last week and following all the press coverage regarding the shortage of teachers in Ireland and ASTI’s call on Government for action in what has been termed as a teacher supply crisis, it is understandable that this topic was high on the agenda, but there were also quite a lot of other motions discussed and voted upon.

ASTI Deputy General Secretary, Diarmuid de Paor joins Adrianne Murphy to talk about the Conference and the motions which were discussed over the three day event and also to discuss the solutions they put forward to rectify this teacher supply crisis.
