I don't know about you , but if I start my year well I can often finish it better. Today in the first ever Farm Boy in 30 Minutes show I will be discussing the questions I have been asking myself at the end of his year to hopefully start the new year better.

My life has been a journey, it still is. I haven't always been, or even cared to be, the man I should be. Today I want to share three simple, but profound, decisions I have made as a Christian young man that have changed me in ways I never would have thought possible.

In today's video we are taking a self evaluation test for the Christian young man.

We will be asking ourselves 10 questions in hopes of seeing where we need to grow.

We will then give ourselves a score in each of these areas and at the end we will average them all out to get our overall "man score".

Don't over think it, this is supposed to be fun.

If there is one thing I struggle with, it's probably using the time God has given me on this terrestrial ball to it's greatest potential. We live a culture that is filled with countless ways in which we can end up wasting the precious hours that make up this all too short life here on earth.

In the face of that I would like to offer some practical ways we can be redeeming the time. . .And having some fun in the process.

I think we have all heard the saying "boys take 7 more years to grow up than girls", and at first glance it seems to be a reasonable conclusion.

But is it true?

Further, if it is true, is that the way it should be?

I think as young men it is easy for us to lose focus of the importance of what we do with ourselves now.

Too often in our pursuit of greatness we forget that true greatness can only come when we are diligent in fighting small battles.

I think we have all been told as young boys to behave like gentlemen. . . But what does that even mean? It doesn't exactly seem like something a strong, country loving, bad-guy-smashing, man would want to be. . . Or is it?

In world where relationships are cheap, it can be hard to find true friends. This has led to loneliness in it's highest form, especially among young men.

How do we fight back?

Love em, hate em, you certainly aren't without them. As a culture and as people in general I think we have lost sight of what emotions actually are.
