Nebraska's Morning News

Each day, we try to get closer to "We could say the stupidest things, and you'd still clap" status.  Here is today's attempt.  I think we're nailing the first part.

On this Gameday Eve, we talk football with Sean Callahan and Ritchie in Papillion, public executions with Jim Rose, and football and executions with Gary Sadlemyer!

It might be too early to talk about some of these things, but it's too late for Republicans to do anything about this Douglas County Board situation!  We cover more than that (or what she covered in her online posts) today, including a Patriotic Productions event we'd love to see you at on Monday night, a Husker Buzz with Sean Callahan, a "deadly" tree in Gretna, a solemn anniversary today, and much more.

We learned that President Trump is tired of Nebraska asking him for money every time it rains, "big red" diesel is now on the table, and he may or may not want Iran to blow up Southern California!

A lot of conversation this morning on President Trump's visit to Nebraska today, as well as more details on an Omaha neighborhood particularly hard hit by the floods, a Husker Buzz with Sean Callahan, and more.

The headline refers to the literal shoveling of mud that many people are doing in the wake of the floods here this week, as well as the figurative handling of mudslinging involved in various poltical campaigns and fights over Memorial Stadium seating arrangements.  Also, we have Sean Callahan, Ritchie in Papillion Greg Wagner, and more -- roll around in the mud with us!

Today, we deal with local floods (and mudslides!), an attempted terror attack in the Middle East, a huge data center proposal in Nebraska, more problems for Maryland en route to a Memorial Stadium on the verge of losing our sellout streak, and more.

We talk some local politics (please listen anyway), bring in Sean for a Husker Buzz, respond to an incident at Burke, welcome Bruce Crawford to announce his next Omaha Film Event, and more!

Welcome to monsoon season in Nebraska.  Today, we talk about the OPS "Moonshot," this poll showing Pillen in big trouble, whether Hillary has any friends, a Husker Buzz with Sean Callahan, stuffing bees down your pants, and more!

And that's just we start on this Monday morning, before also getting to a Husker Buzz with Sean Callahan, AI splitting up your marriage, executing women for crimes other than being a witch, and more!
