Part 1 of 2. Movie: Lisa Frankenstein (2024). The necromancers pay homage to the original monster, Frankenstein. Yes, it's the name of the doctor but aren't men the real monsters in the end? Shira's up first with another Diablo Cody joint, Lisa Frankenstein. Will Bret enjoy a whimsical rom com take on the classic or need reanimation from deadly boredom? Listen to find out. 

Part 2 of 2. Movie: Sliding Doors (1998). The necromancers continue not to heed to consequences of messing with the timeline as they explore the theme of alternate realities. Up next is Shira's pick, Sliding Doors, the alternate reality rom com that launched a thousand "Sliding Doors" episodes of TV. Bret is up first with Coherence, a speculative sci-fi that embraces the infinite social horrors of a dinner with friends. Part 2 of 2. Movie: The Great Race (1965). Bret and Shira drive the topic of "cars" home but not before making a detour through New York to Paris. Surely, they won't be away too long while analyzing Shira's pick, The Great Race. It's not like them to take unannounced, extended breaks... or is it?
