This story is about animals living together in a Jungle. The lion is always thought of as a ferocious animal and is feared by other animals of the Jungle.
 
As Dussehra is round the corner, I felt that a story showing the victory of good over the bad is really necessary this Thursday. Let's see how the lion makes friends with other animals in the jungle.

Neera ki Naiya is an effort to reach young minds through stories of all genres to motivate and inspire all to become better human beings to create a better society for progressive India. Surat ya Sirat is a very old and ancient story that my grandmother had told me when l was a kid.  I decided to retell it in my own version to drive home the fact that we should not go after the colourful wrappings but focus only on the inner core. The beauty lies within.

Surat ya Sirat part 1 takes us through the mysterious lives of 7 Princesses but the actual climax comes at the end of the next part.

This story is based on my personal experiences with my granddaughter when she was hardly 3 years old. The names of the characters have been changed to give the feel of fiction but the essence of feelings between Dadi-Poti is unchanged.

Whatever relation and trust we two shared at that innocent age of a child's life, it has been portrayed as it is. I hope all grandparents can relate to these feelings. Enjoy the wave upon wave of the warmth of the narrative of Mutthi Bhar Sitare in Neera Ki Naiya.
