Last week we studied Nehemiah’s appeal to the Jews in Jerusalem—he promised that God’s favor was with them. As such, he was confident that they could rebuild. He rallied them to achieve a vision of faith—to courageously act as if the vision could come to pass.

Throughout chapter 3 there is a long list of "After so and so" or "Next to so and so..." It is a fascinating list of community members working alongside each other for a future goal and reality.
