As we began to see last time, the Jews of Nehemiah’s day not only submitted themselves to the Law and separated themselves from the world, they also committed themselves to support the work of the Temple. We learned that God doesn’t NEED our earthly support, but He desires it and requires it! When we support the work of the house of the Lord, we demonstrate our commitment to the Kingdom. In today’s sermon, we learn about ways in which they supported the work of the House of the Lord in Nehemiah’s day. The ways in which they supported the work of the Kingdom in that day help us to understand how we should support that work in our day. Join us today as we conclude this sermon about the support of the Kingdom of God.
