The other day I was in the living room and I sighed and I said :"Ohhh, Ya Rab Ya Karim" (God is generous); My oldest son jumped in and asked me, Dad who is Karim? I explained to him that this is a common phrase we say it to Jesus.

Maybe you are laughing about that, but people always ask us about Jesus, and why He died on the cross and other stuff, and when we start talking about the "biblical" Jesus and why He died for us (to be saved by grace not by works) their reaction will be: " who is this? - who is Karim? :-) No way - this is not Jesus that we know.

Someone said to me once: "I have to do something to earn heaven, no way it's that easy".

But then we stop convincing them and pray instead for the Holy Spirit to open the eye of their hearts since the Word of God was inspired by the Spirit of God.

We pray now for every one of our audience so that reality be revealed to them. Maybe your friend sent you our YouTube channel link, and that is not by coincidence. God wants you to hear this.

We are doing these short episodes to show how much Jesus loves us and wants us to live happy and blessed and enjoy His Grace.

If some doctors came to you and asked you to give them your eye for experimental purposes for 1 Million Dollars, would you accept? What if they offered you 4 Million Dollars for both eyes? No one with his sane mind will do that.

Jesus said, "if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell” [Mathew 18:9].

So now it's clear from Jesus own words that what really matters is life after death (Eternity).

Jesus said to the thief next to him on the cross: "And he said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To-day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.” [Luke 23:43]. Jesus would have never lied to him and He assured him that he would be with Him in Paradise.

What about us? Can we also be sure about our eternity? Even the thief knew about his eternity although he did “do” anything. The thief only put his trust in Jesus’s words and promise.

In John 11:25, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth on me, though he die, yet shall he live;”. If you would like to know about your own destiny after you die, you only have to trust Jesus and His finished work on the cross to save you from death and you will be saved.

No, it's not another TV commercial for Dettol, but what's funny is that each time I read the 99% I laugh because that company wants to take zero responsibility in case anything happened to you (إخلاء مسوؤلية) but what's funny, we still trust this product, that's why we buy it and we feel safer by using it for the kitchen, toilets, our hands,...

Unfortunately, most of the time, we don't treat God's Word the same as we do with Dettol.

Jesus tells you don't worry about tomorrow, take no care. Jesus saved you from the punishment of sin and took all the judgment upon himself on the cross. Also in Matthew 6:26 "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?". That's why we want to trust Jesus.

We are using a funny example to talk about a very important topic.

Jesus loves you, trust his Words.

Hi, Kifak? CA VA! If you are not fine, then this video is for you.

How many times we've been asked this questions? Maybe 20-30 times per day. Friends and colleagues ask us all day long "Hi, Kifak? CA VA!", and later the question got shorter: "Ca Va?" and we automatically say "we are fine" even-though we may feel the opposite and that happens for 2 reasons:

1- We believe that this person is not that close to us and these problems / issues are private.

2- We have embraced the idea that there is no hope so why bother and talk about it; why tell them about our sickness or depression or other problems.

And since we feel so bad about ourselves, we think that the last person that we can ask him for help is Jesus. But the truth is exactly the opposite.

Jesus said (Mark 2:17): " It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick". If you humble yourself and ask for help, Jesus is ready for it. Jesus took all our pain (Isaiah 53:4) so that we live pain-free.

Jesus is not expecting you to be perfect to accept you. He did it all for you on the cross, when He cried IT IS FINISHED.

For every mountain that is high He is higher

اذا كان الجبل عالي، هو أعلى

For every burden that is great He is greater

اذا كان الحِمل كبير، هو أكبر

For every fear that closes in He is closer

أذا كان الخوف قريب منك، هو أقرب

For every battle that we face He has conquered all

Most people like stories. Some stories are 2 years old, 10 years old, 20 years old and so on. And when the story is told over and over from one person to another is subject to lots of changes.

For example, If a particular story was told by 5 people, they may change the content, the characters, the names so maybe they are talking about India, you will discover that it was about Lebanon, they will also change the name from Ibrahim to Tony.

A story changes over the years specially if it was old then there is a big chance of loosing its true info and actual facts.

If your grandmother tells you a story her grandma told her, trust me, the story will not be the same. People tend to fix and change and colorize stories and this is typical human nature.

Imagine that the story of the Bible, the story of Jesus, is 2000 years old. Did you ever ask yourself if the story is true, specially if you heard it from someone and you never read it yourself.

You may have false ideas or doctrines about Jesus simply because you didn’t read but you just memorize what you have been asked to believe and receive.

I urge you dear that you take the Bible more seriously and see yourself.

Check what Jesus is about and why He came on earth and what really happened and if what He did, was enough to save you and to give you eternal life.

Synopsis:

For years this verse was misunderstood and misquoted by religious people when Jesus said in Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it"

When you read this verse you think that to have an eternal life, you should suffer, be sad all the time but on the other side, the people who are going through the wide gate, they will enjoy life and have fun here but they will never go to Heaven.

If you meditate and read this verse and you ask the Holy Spirit to explain to you what does this actually mean, He will show you that the gate is narrow because there is One Gate, one Road which is Jesus.

In John 14:6, Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Jesus was talking about Himself. That's why it's crucial to interpret the Bible with the Bible.

Try not to be affected by traditions and culture and research by yourself. If you're still not convince, go read the Bible and make your own research and the Lord with show you the Truth.

I was in the office talking to my friend about my kids. I always talk about my kids everywhere I go cause I love them and care about them. So my friend said "May God protect them and you be able to see them and see their offsprings as well".

I told him yes God will make me live and I will be able to see them growing and see my grandkids. And he said: "yeahhhh, God's will be done". Immediately I related this incident with "God Words".

Take care! You take care. A phrase that we hear all day long. Our friends say it: "Good bye, take care!"

They ask us to take care of ourselves but in reality, we know that no one can TAKE CARE of himself 100%.

Yes, we care about our bodies for example that's why we exercise and eat healthy food but lots of people died, lost their loved ones, cars, houses, etc,... trying to take care of themselves.

So my question is: "How can I be sure that someone would take care of me and protect me?" and the answer is found in 1 Peter 5:7 [Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.]

so if God wants to take The Care why do I have to take it on myself. Let him take it all since He got the power to do that. He is always ready to help you and present 24/7.

God is not bound by time or location and He has millions of angels to send and help us out and take care of us. So my "taking" care is soooo little and small comparing to God's taking care of me.

But there is a small key that enable God helping us which is found in the same version but in a different English translation (The Voice Translation) 1 Peter 5:7-9 [Since God cares for you, let Him carry all your burdens and worries.]

As if God can NOT invade your life without permission and He is waiting you to ask him to look after you, "Jesus, take care of me and help me and I believe you will do".

Two days ago, I entered the kitchen to have my breakfast. I had one man'oushe zaatar in the fridge and I reheated it in the microwave since it's faster than the oven. After 40 seconds, I discovered that I was wrong and hoped I ate it cold.

Immediately I recalled one incident happened two years back when we were in Dbayeh. I decided to grow a mint in a pot and I placed it on the balcony. I checked it after 2 weeks to find that it was black and no leaves so logically I assumed it's dead.

Two days later, I decided to go out and throw it and was surprise to find it alive with green sprouts all around, and of course I didn't throw it away. This was a small mint and it's insignificant but sometimes we throw priceless stuff like our friends, dreams, relatives just because they seemed dead to us. A man may throw (leave or divorce) his wife simply because she didn't blossom (change) within the period he gave her.

Jesus asks us in James 5:7 "...See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains."

In conclusion, never use the microwave to reheat always in the oven and if you grow a mint have patience on it :)
