Neighborhood Church (Lakeland, FL)

In Hebrews 1:3 it states “He [Jesus] is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of Majesty on high.” In this week’s message we begin to see how Jesus is the ultimate fulfillment of every prophesy in the Old Covenant. Pastor Orrin reads through the entire book of Hebrews to give us a context for where we will be headed for our this sermon series.

When we are a part of a church, its easy to fall into the trap of placing too much focus on our immediate group and losing focus on the fact that we are a part of God’s church. Knowing this tendency, one of our principles at Neighborhood Church is We Collaborate Rather Than Compete. Join us this week as Pastor Ben teaches on the important Biblical truth behind this principle.

It is a difficult situation when we have friends or loved ones who are caught up in a sinful lifestyle. Abraham dealt with this as well, and in Genesis 18 we have the description of him praying to God, interceding on Lot’s behalf. Join us this week as pastor Orrin preaches from this passage and draws out important lessons from this passage of scripture.

The end of first Samuel gives us a picture of Saul’s last days as he finally meets his end after years of defying God’s commands. Instead of gloating however, David’s response provides us with a wonderful picture of what Godly character looks like. Join us this week as Pastor Orrin teaches important truth from this passage.
