Every town in the UK has some less desirable estates, and Stratford Upon Avon is no different. Beyond the tourists flocking to the place of Shakespeare's birth, life on the Clopton estate was pretty miserable for most. The Erskine family lived on the estate and were a hard-working, kind and respectful family. But they soon become a target of abuse for some of their less savoury neighbours. And on 3 January 1996, events took a terrible turn....
