On this week's Today with Adrianne Murphy, Neil Burton, Co-Director of the Migrant Rights Centre Ireland (MRCI) discusses calls by migrant workers, students and families to reduce immigration fees has been ignored in the recent Budget even though petitions have shown that 88%, of people questioned, have said the fee should be reduced. Every year thousands of people from outside the EU face a registration fee of €300 just for living and working here in Ireland. This Irish Residence Permit (IRP) must be paid by everyone over the age of 18 and by immigrants who are usually working on minimum wage.
