Neil Gehani is an entrepreneur and software engineer; he is also a visionary in the midst of existential transformation. He is the driving force behind MindLumen, a nascent non-profit project that aspires to provide the psychedelic renaissance with the tools it needs to develop a rigorously ethical and financially viable alternative to the current pharmaceutical model that threatens to take hold of plant medicine in the US and worldwide. We talk about facilitating the connection between guides and explorers, the promise of cryptocurrencies, the trials and tribulations of developing ethical certification protocols, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO’s), and various cooperative business models in the US and Basque Country, as well as the real bottom line: how do we find value or meaning in (work)life, how does the psychedelic experience contribute to that, and how can we organize ourselves - as individuals, as businesses, and as communities - to be more in line with the most profound lessons we’ve learned from our plant medicine journeys?
