Philippians 3:14 reminds us that as believers, we have a prize set before us and must align with God’s will. We live with intentional conduct because we know we are accountable to God, who is the moral standard above all. This accountability shapes how we live, think, and act, and it all ultimately glorifies the One who gives us life.
We must run this race to win, being temperate in all things, knowing there are eternal rewards. Soul-winning is part of God’s plan, and wherever believers are, they are agents of His kingdom. We are running for gold, living our lives as unto the Lord.

True giving isn’t just about the act,it’s about honour for the Lord and the posture of the heart. In the Old Testament, sacrifices weren’t only about sin, they were also acts of honour. God sees the heart, not just the offering.
Giving and doing good please God, whether He responds immediately or not. Giving is a privilege that sanctifies unto the Lord.

God’s plan is that we are radical together. That we burn together. It is an anomaly to be a Christian without a heart for ministry.
Devotion should lead to transformation.
At the end of devotion is a better me and God glorified.
Don’t practice devotion in contradiction.
Growth must be whole.
God wants you charismatic and moral. He wants you to honour ministry gifts and honour your parents. Once you’ve received the love of God, you lose the right to live for yourself.

God’s glory must come first in our lives. When we truly listen to His Word, it should stir a transformation deep within our hearts. Without understanding the rules of engagement, there can be no real victory.

At our 5-hour prayer meeting, Overturn, Pastor Nelson shared a powerful charge on Hindrances to prayer: 

1. Selfish Motives – Praying with self-centered desires places us at the center instead of God. 

2. Unbelief – God gives freely, but we must ask in faith. The issue isn’t His giving, but our receiving. 

3. Under-Praying / Spiritual Warfare – Like Elijah and Jesus, we must persist in prayer. Don’t quit too soon. 

4. Sin – God accepts the man before the sacrifice. Cain’s offering lacked what Abel’s had—purity. Don’t come before God with strife or unrepentant sin.

Prayer is not time wasted, but time invested.
