Just wait. Dark Knights of Steel is my biggest Elseworlds story yet. Twisting characters and origins in ways never seen before. I love this book. And the Yasmine Putri art elevates it to a whole other level. - Tom Taylor, Twitter.

INFERNO #1

THE CULMINATION OF JONATHAN HICKMAN'S X-MEN BEGINS!

“There will be an island—not the first, but the last…” Destiny’s foreboding words have stuck with Mystique—and fans—since the very beginning of the age of Krakoa. Now, a day of reckoning is upon mutantkind’s leaders, and the shocking payoff to seeds planted in HOUSE OF X and POWERS OF X arrives in mastermind writer Jonathan Hickman’s brand-new X-Men series: INFERNO!

WELCOME TO KRAKOA

HABEAS CORPSES! Heroes of the Marvel Universe came to Krakoa for a memorial. Now they’ve got a fight. Magneto pushes Krakoa and the Council to the brink! Also...there’s something wrong with the body...

CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED

The Scarlet Witch has been killed, and all evidence points to Magneto, even as he heavily petitions the Quiet Council for her resurrection. Meanwhile, the murder investigation has been fraught with tension as X-Factor and the X-Men both attempt to head the investigation on their own terms. The investigation is further complicated by the fraught nature of Scarlet Witch's history with mutantdom, with many on Krakoa celebrating her passing. More concerning, something is happening to Wanda's body -- and X-Factor is going to have to uncover the mystery fast because the Avengers have just arrived to recover their fallen teammate.

And only Spawn knows that he even exists. Continuing the dramatic battles from SPAWN'S UNIVERSE #1, this is where it all begins! Don't miss out...the last time a new ongoing SPAWN series launched was in 1992.
