The year is 2022, Elden Ring is released. Thousands, maybe even millions of nerds from around the world have gone into hiding. They are the chosen, the patient, the persistent, the slightly smelly after 3 days of no sleep. They are, the Tarnished. This week we recover Nick and Jamie, our very own potential Elden Lords, from the depths of the Lands Between, shower them off, and slap the Flame of Ambition outta them so they can give us (and you) their hot take on this massive title. Once the air has cleared, we move on and talk about our favorite Remakes and Remasters, skirt around the edges of Nick sanity by discussing Star Wars, praise highly and continually the hidden gem that is Vampire Survivors, then close things out with a catchup on Josh's quest to finally play his backlog.
Why was it the Air Force and not the Navy that got control over the Stargate program? Why did the Alien movies get progressively worse? Why are horror movies so horrible? Why do Amazon Games suck at publishing video games? Why did we start playing Fortnite? Why are we STILL playing Fortnite? There are no answers to be found here to any of these questions, but we try our best.

We chow down on the latest MMORPG action to hit the west: Lost Ark. What do we like? What don't we like? How life-consuming is it, exactly? This leads to a broader discussion about previous experiences with MMO's, which to be honest, is not the worst tangent we've been on. On then we go to talking about Star Citizen, the game that never was and never will be. To finish things up, Jamie gives us a quick rundown on his time playing Dying Light 2. This and a whole lot more!

Join Jamie, Nick, Josh and (Still) Dave as they catch up on all the big news coming out of the Christmas break.
In this episode, the boys, finally all back together for the first time in months, discuss; the cutting edge and very recent title that is Dead Space 3, Nick's disdain for anything Christmas related, some more New World opinions, Wolverine (yes, the X-men variant), the incredible and nostalgia invoking Age of Empires 4, as well our memories of gaming magazines and land lines.
This and a whole lot more in this, episode 27, of the Neon City Daily Podcast!
