Pokemon Day 2018 is upon us! Pokemon Day is Feb. 27th, so I wanted to do a Pokemon themed episode this week to help celebrate!! In today’s episode I cover why Ash is SUPER HUMAN, that’s right. Ash’s fitness separates him from other humans hands down.
He can take 100,000 volts from Pikachu
14 million degree flamthrowers from Charizard
Walks thousands of miles making him a Type I (Slow Twitch) muscle fiber athlete.
I also compare and contrast Pokemon The 1st Movie: Mew vs. Mewtwo against Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You! (the 20th movie of the franchise).
Pokemon The 1st Movie: Mew Vs Mewtwo:
DNA from Mew (the ancestor of all Pokemon) is picked up
Team Rocket’s Giovanni commissions scientists to clone him a super Pokemon from the Mew DNA (Incoming Mewtwo)
Mewtwo kills everyone escaping the lab
Builds his own castle and invites Ash, Misty, Brock and other trainers to battle against him and his army of clone Pokemon
Mew and Mewtwo fight against each other
Ash jumps in the middle of them shooting Psybeams at each other and turns him to stone
Pikachu and all other Pokemon cry bringing Ash back to life
Changes Mewtwo’s perspective on things and Mewtwo changes his mindset
Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You!
Follows the original series story line for first 15 minutes:
Ash gets Pikachu as his starter
Ash gets attacked by flock of Spearow and Pikachu saves him
Ash sees Ho-Oh and gets Rainbow Wing
Ash goes on a journey to find Ho-Oh
Gaining Caterpie and evolving it into Butterfree
Charmander evolving it into Charizard
Ash beats protagonist Cross
Marshadow takes Rainbow Wing from Cross and takes control of all wild Pokemon
Ash and Pikachu beat Marshadow
Ash gets to fight Ho-Oh
Overall I think both movies are fantastic. For me personally, they are both tied for 1st Place for the best Pokemon movie ever!!! Happy #pokemonday
