Nerd In Texas Podcast

I talk about Loki and the real Norse Mythology story behind Loki giving birth to an 8 legged horse. Loki causes a lot of controversy over the internet that causes soccer mom Karen to want to cancel Loki so I thought I would get more into depth about what really happened.

I get the story from Neil Gaiman Norse Mythology. Here is a link to Amazon.

This episode is about Loki and the real story behind him cutting sif's hair. They left a clue in episode 4 about this story but I wanted to talk more about it. Loki cutting sif's hair led to the creation of one of the greatest weapons in asgard.

I talk about a quiet place part 1 and some of the things that bug me about post-apocalyptic movies with my 13-year-old.

Two parents do what it takes to keep their children safe in a world full of creatures hunting every sound they can hear. Not a sound can be heard from the family hiding in silence, but all it takes is one noise and everything can go wrong.

In this episode, I talk about Teenage Bounty Hunters on Netflix and how it is unloved, unappreciated, and a bunch of other un words.

After joining forces with a veteran bounty hunter, sixteen-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling and Blair dive into the world of bail skipping baddies while still navigating the high stakes of teenage life.

I dive into possibly why the show was canceled after one season even though it was successful on Netflix a few weeks in a row.

I talk about Locke and Key on Netflix.

After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father's death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens - and will stop at nothing to steal them. From Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill, Locke and Key is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family. Written by Netflix

I also talk to you about adulting decisions or non-decisions I made lately that and surprise I will be getting! Listeners also asked me about my breakfast??? I don't get it either.
