We also talk about Velocity based training and different modalities in sports tracking that are in use today. The end of the episode considered the use of standards and periodization ton achieve your goals once you have incorporated tracking into your daily routine.
In this episode we address Sports Psychology and its impact on enhancing sports performance. We talk about the mind-Muscle connection and the mindset impact in both training and competition. The main elements that were analyzed are Javier Sotomayor's story, Adam Nelson's story and a Cleveland Clinic study that helps us understand how to use mind training to improve even when we can't be outside to train.
