We're joined by FX sculptor and artist Tom Spina of Tom Spina Designs and Regal Robot to talk about the creatures, aliens, monsters, and other non-human sentient beings that make Star Wars stand out from other film franchises. We have a longer than normal episode because we simply had a blast nerding out about that side of bringing Star Wars to life. We also talk about the evolution of the industry and how it has actually gotten stronger in a digital world, as well as Tom's work on recent Star Wars projects like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
