A Star Wars leaker named FivesWalker posted on X that the third game in Cal Kestis' story is set for next year, and that marketing will start sooner than people expect, possibly even before The Game Awards on December 10th. George Lucas Museum of Narrative Art just opened and in a recent interview he mentioned how he gave up making 3 more Star Wars movies (the sequels) to make this museum. The internet is buzzing about how this is major news, when it's not. George always always always planned to make 9 films, and when he sold Lucasfilm to Disney, he was promised that they would take his story treatments and use them.

September 20 I VISITED GEORGE LUCAS’ MUSEUM!
Lucas Museum of Narrative art has so much to offer all interests and walks of life. In this video I toured the Star Wars exhibit which I believe they might be expanding eventually as this was only an early access showing. It was incredible to be able to see screen used pieces from George’s story that we all grew up on. I have a one year pass that I purchased so I will be visiting again and doing another video with possible new pieces added. Thanks for watching the video and sharing your love for George and Star Wars.

"Hayden Christensen is REPORTEDLY in the final stages of signing a multi picture deal with Disney and Lucasfilm, and the piece everyone is focused on is a standalone Darth Vader movie." I've been seeing chatter about this online, if it's true, here's my thoughts on the situation.
Nothing here is confirmed. Lucasfilm, Disney, and Christensen have all stayed silent, and none of the major outlets have backed the claim yet. So this is a rumor, and I'm covering it as a rumor. But it's worth talking through, because of what it would mean if it turns out to be real.
The gap between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope is the most requested era in Star Wars. Vader hunting the surviving Jedi. His early years under Palpatine. The castle on Mustafar. Twenty years of stories that live action has barely touched and the tumultuous battle between Anakin and Vader are all stories to tell.
And Christensen isn't the guy who shows up for a nostalgia cameo anymore like they've been throwing him into. Between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka, he's become a fixture again, and he's said publicly there's a lot left to explore with the character after Episode III.
