We are in land allotments! I'll pick up a few interesting things - the Levites were not given any land; Caleb get a good allotment because he wholly followed the LORD; some tribes grumbled; some got peaceful neighbors while others got fighting ones. I will do a point each of each of the 5 chapters of Joshua 1-5. The gist of it is - in Israel's history, there are seasons ... seasons of leadership, accomplishments, etc. and it is normal for a new leader to be God's person leading. What does that mean? What carries on? How does God work?
