Rebekah Hargraves is a wife, mama of two littles, blogger, podcaster, and author whose passion is to edify, equip, and encourage women in their journey of Biblical womanhood, particularly with an emphasis on the gospel and its implications for everyday life. Jordan and her husband Ben moved with their 3 kids to New Orleans 3 years ago. There they are apart of a church plant, Immanuel Community Church. Today we are ushering you into the Holiday Season with an episode full of our tips for how to continue living with intentionality. We broke the episode into 3 categories: gathering, feathering, and guarding your nest.

  • We tackle a listener question: what are some staples to keep on hand for drop-in guests? (We may or may not get a little carried away here!) 
  • Some encouragement to give yourself a break on the perfection, and really love your people
  • A reminder that an open home normally begins with an invitation, and that we need to seek out the lonely and hurting in our life a little extra this time of year

  • We tackle an often touchy subject- being careful with accepting or declining an invitation, and a reminder to extend grace to our family and friends who may be in a busy season with their kids
