  • S4E9 - DAMN YOU FILM STUDIOS!!! Rant. Schemers; Saint Maud; Bill & Ted again; TENET again
With the postponement of No Time To Die confirming that Film studios are Greedy Chickens, we have a rant about how that has led to recently reopening cinemas closing again, possibly for good. Shaun and Sharon was (a possibly final) goodbye to Cineworld on the Isle of Wight by watching Schemers, Saint Maud, Bill and Ted face the Music and Tenet. And we wonder what the hell we are going to talk about next week.

We also chat the possibility of Cinemas closing again due to tighter COVID restrictions in England, invite film buff Seb Junemann onto the show to save us in the absence of any new films in the cinema this week, and stare bewildering at Shaun as he watches all 5 Transformers films on purpose.

  • S4E5 - CINEMAS ARE BACK 5: Chadwick Boseman; The New Mutants VS Only; TENET(again) VS The Blackout

We kick off this weeks Podcast by remembering Chadwick Boseman, a man who delivered some great cinemati moments and promised more only to be brought down by life happening. To our Marshall, Jackie, James, T'challa, you will be missed.

We waited 6 months for Cinemas to come back, nothing compared to The New Mutants who waited 2 years to even get a chance of being in Cinemas. Tosin and Shaun find out if it was worth it.

Sharon Catches up with the death of womanhood with Frieda Pinto and Leslie Odom Jr. in ONLY, Shaun Joins Tosin in the head scratching in TENET (We did say it has to be watched multiple times, so we'll review it multiple times) and Shaun goes Russian for his latest new film industry experience with The Blackout.

  • S4E2 - CINEMAS ARE BACK 2: Dark Water Abyss; Lord of the Rings Extended Trilogy; VS The Last Wave; Danger Close
THe Second week of Cinemas being back is here and Shaun is as happy as a pig in the proverbial. Spending more time in the Cinema this week with Gandalf and friends than Tosin spent at Work. After last week's heady excitement, Shaoron slows down with a thoughtful french Drama in The Last Wave, and Tosin is just here to press the buttons as he managed a whole week without seeing anything.

  • S4E1 - CINEMAS ARE BACK 1: Proxima, Unhinged; The Nightingale,The Last Days of American Crime, The Decline

Cinemas are back, like honest to goodness back, like not saying 'we will open again soon when Christopher Nolan decides to release Tenet' but 'actually book a seat and come watch a film in a darkened room' back. And we are reasonably excited.

Shaun goes Beast Mode (does he know any other mode)and lives in the cinema for a week, seeing Russell Crowe in Unhinged, Eva Green in Proxima, and some old film called The Empire Strikes Back.

Sharon sees Eva Green in Proxima and
Tosin sees ... nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in a cinema because Cineworld beat Odeon to the Punch with reopening. Boooo!! But he does see The Nightingale, amazing film from Jennifer Kent that gave him a sleepless night.

  • We Miss Cinema 15: Cinemas actually back; Eurovison; Umbrella Academy S1; Film Buff: Wale Awelenje; E.T., Black Widow

As Cinemas (Cineworld at least) prepare to actually reopen their doors and honest to goodness show new films on the big screen, we have Wale Awelenje on who talks about how much missing Cinemas has been hard to take, how his first cinema experience left him saying 'E.T. phone home' for weeks, and how much he's looking forward to seeing Natasha Romanov leading the line.

In other news, Sharon watches Will Ferrell try and lampoon the unlampoonable with Eurovision, Tosin watches messed up X-Men in Umbrella Academy and Shaun revisits an old favourite in Man with the Iron Fists.
