Mark Anderson and Al Kingsley explore how ReallySchool helps primary teachers and TAs meet Ofsted’s requirement to collect evidence of pupils' learning and progress. 

The solution is for EYFS and KS1 and identifies and tracks pupils against their specified progress measures - providing teachers with a quick and easy way to capture learning as it happens, assess against national frameworks and gain insights from its rich report data.

Mark Anderson (ICT Evangelist) and NetSupport MD, Al Kingsley, chat about all things edtech including: learning research; how educational technology can influence teaching and learning; barriers to edtech use; the use of gamification in assessment tools; the learning possibilities created by AR and VR – and much more.

Mark Anderson joins Al Kingsley on NetSupport Radio to explore the tools that provide the broadest picture of a school's IT estate and how they can help to reduce costs. Plus, they take a look at tools teachers can use to support technology-enhanced teaching and learning. 

They also chat about online safety and safeguarding; outlining the proactive features of  NetSupport DNA's Safeguarding suite and explaining the ways students can reach out for help (within the school) by reporting concerns to trusted members of staff - or using the in-built self-service list of contacts for external organisations.

Tony Sheppard from GDPR in Schools joins Russell Prue and Al Kingsley to discuss the impact of GDPR on schools. 

Tony talks about the improvements it will bring to people's rights over their own data (the right to erasure, the right to be forgotten and so on) and transparency around what is happening with data within schools. It's a prompt (and opportunity!) for schools to review the data they hold and ask themselves why they're retaining it and what they're using it for and, crucially, whether it complies with the new rules.

Al Kingsley chats to eSafety Adviser, Alan Mackenzie, about all things eSafety and Safeguarding. They discuss new trends and challenges, how behaviours evolve and why good online safety education is so important. Alan also recommends where to go to for eSafety advice and makes a few predictions about how issues may change for the year ahead (2019).
