Chris Foxx interviews Melissa McCormick, the Support Services Director at Nevada State High School. Nevada State High School was established in 2004. We are a dual enrollment program where high school students are taking real college classes to earn both high school and college credit. Because students are primarily in college classes, they have a lot more flexibility with their schedules and are no longer confined to the 40-hour/5 day week classroom. Nevada State pays for up to 5 classes per semester, allowing students to graduate high school with over 50 college credits earned. About 1/4 of our graduating seniors will also graduate with an associate's degree. https://nevadastatehs.com/
