Publisher's Summary:
Leah Morgan was done with men. After barely surviving a horrendous childhood, and a boyfriend who bailed when things got rough, Leah had given up on love. Then she met him, Hollywood's new golden boy who suddenly had eyes only for her. She tried to convince herself that one night couldn't hurt, but after six months, the memories of his mesmerizing gaze and searing touch still invaded her every thought.
Declan James had just one rule when it came to women. Keep it simple, and never linger. That all changed the moment he met Leah. Even across a crowded bar, he could tell she was different. Sweet, with just the right amount of sass, she made him break his golden rule and now he couldn't walk away.
When casual becomes anything but, and emotions run deep, will Leah and Declan fight their fears, or let old insecurities tear them apart? When Declan's past comes roaring back in a way neither of them could have expected, will they stand united or be torn apart by the challenges that lie ahead?
It was only supposed to be one night, but only forever will do.

Good story but...
The male voice actor whispered too much. Couldn't hear him (even on max volumel while listening in the car.
Wonderful Listen!
I had previously read this book, so I was anxious to listen to it. The narrators- James Fouhey and Laura Princiotta- did a wonderful job of portraying the characters in the story. I am greatly enjoying this series and am going to jump right into the next audio!
Such a heartfelt story
Leah and Declan's story was so endearing. Leah was such a strong and I woman having gone through so much in her childhood. Declan was such a guy but throughout the book, his greatest qualities proved to be redeeming.
I really enjoyed the witty banter, emotional discoveries, and romantic adventures within this book.
I flipped between reading and listening to the audio and I really loved the narrators. They were both perfect for the two main characters and really helped to bring the story to life.
WOW!!
WOW, wow, and more wow. I don't think I have ever been so swoon over a book as I was with this one I mean DAMN it was literally another best book for me. What I loved most about this book was the family oriented atmosphere that it was always present throughout the whole book and everyone was welcomed. The happily ever after seas also very obvious in this story España to the people who needed it the most and it was inevitable despite their objections. The narrators were great I think they brought life to every chapter especially Declan's characters he was hilarious and kept me laughing. Leah's narrator eehhh she could have done better but she was good still made me laughed. What I didn't like about this book was that I felt it was a bit unrealistic with the whole plot of the story I was waiting for something to happen but it didn't and if it did it was not much. Everything was just too perfect, well with the exception of a few bad incidents, and although it was great it was a bit annoying. I still loved loved loved this story it was great.
Even James Fouhey couldn't save this one
CONTAINS SPOILERS. This audiobook was brutal. I hated the voice of Leah. I hated the cheesy, sex scenes.. "he entered me with one thrust"... ouch. It really bothered me that you'd get through one awful sex scene and a minute later there would be another.
