I didn't want it to end!

This book never let me go from the second it started! An awesome story of real passion with an incredible ending. An emotional roller coaster. The narrator was really on it, very sensitive and you get the feeling she was moved by it too. Absolutely worth a credit, if you can handle how youll feel afterwards, when you want more!

Pretty good

I love Anie Michaels, this one is good and Im going to listen to the next. Wasnt crazy about the ending. I liked the narrator.

Flat story with weird plot twists

So this has been sitting on my phone for a while... I realized I never listened to it and gave it a chance. Ugh.

There's really no way to explain the absolute basic level writing, incomplete plots, characters going off course with their already established personalities... and then BOOM an ending out of left field that is ridiculous after all that just happened in the last moments.

I get the feeling this book doesn't know what it wants to be. The first half is something out of a Nicholas Sparks book. The second is erotica. Then characters do 180s and make no sense.

Please explain to me why a guy you dated for 4 years, was probably someone you wanted to marry, goes from being your typical boyfriend businessman who cheats on you to someone who has one sip of alcohol and suddenly becomes a physically abusive prick who wants to knock your lights out. Or that you run screaming to your place of business, and a "beggar" in a hoodie decides to shoot you in the shoulder. For no reason other than it will cause drama and a cliffhanger at the end of the book? Or maybe the boyfriend went even more crazy and IS the shooter? I have no idea - that's just speculation from how everything ended.

This book was painful to listen to. The writing went on a tailspin and the narrator sounded like a Christmas elf or a 5-year-old for most of the book.

I can't stress this enough - unless it's free, don't bother. And from what I've read about the second book, mainly because we are left with a crazy cliffhanger, the next in the series are not worth it either.

Overall, this was a sweet one! Ella Sinclair is the kind of girl that every woman will root for when it relates to love. Mainly, because her 4-year relationship with her boyfriend Kyle came to a devastating end as Ella caught him with another womanUGH! How awful! So, you really feel for Ella when she goes ahead with her plans of a romantic beach getaway sans ex-boyfriend.
