Never Far from Home

Hannah Westbrook Started playing hockey from an early age. With three older siblings, she was quickly introduced to a number of different sports, but hockey was the one that stuck. Having spent much of her youth in Wyoming, her horizons quickly expanded, and she now boasts a resume that includes professional stints in Sweden, Finland, and Australia. Since hanging up the playing skates, she has spent time in China as well. Enjoy the many stories she shares about her hockey experience. I did.

MB Arce got into hockey a little later in life, but was a sporty gal for the better part of her childhood, though she didn't play organized sports until her high school years. An avid soccer player, she took her love of sport with her in to her studies, and is a personal trainer today. Enjoy her many stories, and excuse me if I tee her up to show off some of her knowledge and expertise. What can I say? MB rules.

Eli Zink had a little experience with hockey when he was a kid, but circumstance kept him from playing at length until adulthood. The basketball player turned hockey nut talks about his experiences within the game itself, at the beer league level, and of course, we talk about some family as well. Enjoy his many stories.

Michael Arce began playing hockey later in life, but was a sportsman his whole youth, and through his early adult years. In a fun spin on an episode, he talks about his current job, as a Captain of the local Fire Department. It ties together with the connection of sport, and life!

Dylan Knudsen grew up playing in a small town in Northwest Colorado. He was lucky enough to have the Avs move to town as he was finding his love for the game, and he quickly was drawn to hockey in its entirety.
