Stephen McGrath: Brand Manager, Leapmotor Ireland - Stephen leads the Leapmotor Ireland brand and has been central to bringing Leapmotor to the Irish market since its launch in October 2025. He brings more than 20 years’ experience across finance and the motor industry, with earlier roles at Motor Distributors Limited, Volkswagen Group Ireland, followed by over five years as Head of Product and Pricing for Peugeot and DS Automobiles at Gowan Auto. He’s overseen the growth of the Leapmotor line-up in Ireland from the T03 and C10 at launch to the B10, B05 and now the B03X.

Leapmotor is Ireland’s newest car brand, launched in October 2025 and distributed here by Gowan Auto. Globally, Leapmotor International is a strategic partnership between Stellantis and Leapmotor, which means Irish customers get the backing of Stellantis and Gowan Auto behind every car: a growing nationwide 10-dealer network, a central parts operation with full aftersales support, alongside a 6-year unlimited mileage warranty as standard across all models.

The brand’s philosophy is “Value Without Compromise”: offering best-in-class specification and technology as standard, with no hidden extras. In just a year, the brand has launched the T03 city car, the B05 hatchback, the B10 and C10 SUVs, and the new B03X, which will be unveiled to the Irish public for the first time on the Leapmotor stand at the Nevo EV Show as Official Vehicle Launch Partner.

Emer Barry is the Programme Manager for Electric Vehicles and Demand Generation at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). This programmes aim is to support and progress the electrification and ultimately decarbonisation of the transport sector in Ireland. The programme includes grants for the purchase of new electric vehicles, an EV dealership awards scheme and an supports for commercial fleets. Emer has been with SEAI for over 22 years and has held several positions including Personal Assistant to the CEO as well as managing and delivering the Education & Youth Programme.

SEAI is the national energy authority. We work with citizens, businesses, communities and government to transform how we think about, generate and use energy in Ireland. SEAI provide advice and grant funding to businesses and homeowners to upgrade their premises and homes to add renewable technology, add insulation and overall reduce their emissions and costs. Paul Fitzpatrick is Business Development Manager for ESB's public EV charging business, where he leads the development of strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities to support the growth of Ireland's EV charging infrastructure

ESB was established in 1927 as a statutory body under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1927. With a holding of 97.1%, ESB is majority owned by the Irish Government. The remaining 2.9% is held by the trustees of an Employee Share Ownership Plan. As a strong, diversified utility, ESB operates across the electricity market, from generation through transmission and distribution, to supply of customers in addition to using our networks to carry fibre for telecommunications. During the year ended 31 December 2025, ESB Group employed over 10,000 people.

Mark McGrath is Head of Marketing & Product for SEAT and CUPRA Ireland at Volkswagen Group Ireland. He previously served as Head of Marketing for Volkswagen Passenger Cars in Ireland, and has spent over a decade in Irish automotive marketing across CUPRA, Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Opel.

CUPRA launched in Ireland in 2021 and has since established itself as one of the country’s fastest-growing automotive brands, with a market share of almost 2%. The brand’s current Irish line-up comprises the CUPRA Formentor, Leon, Born, Tavascan and Terramar, with the CUPRA Raval, a new 100% electric urban car, joining the range in 2026. CUPRA combines distinctive design, performance and electrification across its model range, while building its presence beyond the automotive sector through partnerships and activity centred around electronic music and padel in Ireland. Globally, CUPRA has sold more than one million vehicles since its launch in 2018 and continues to expand its presence across international markets.
