Great news, the FDA approved the first A-L-S treatment funded by the Ice Bucket Challenge. The millions of dollars raised through the 2014 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge went into the development and trial of AMX0035, as well as fund the years-long advocacy campaign that pushed the FDA to approve the treatment.
