Sermon 6 in the Series on Spiritual Warfare deals with the oppression and spirit of heaviness that the enemy brings to our minds and how to combat it. The believer's power over this powerful enemy does not lie in the believer's own strength or fleshly tactics, but Christ's finished work at Calvary. Our victory lies in putting on the armor God, every piece of which points to Christ. Put on Christ and be victorious over the enemy!!!

God calls us to Repent (turn away) from sin, and He gives us the power to do so by His finished work at Calvary and the power of the Holy Spirit. But it gets better.

The Bible teaches that a time of refreshing comes from repentance. A divine refreshing and rivers of living water from the Holy Spirit to refresh us. Pastor Peter Outar breaks this down from Acts 3:19 and Isaiah 30 in this message to encourage you to turn from sin and receive the refreshing and rest of God.

Repentance. Hardly spoken of and even if so, we find it so hard to give up and turn from the sin we find so pleasurable and so easily besets us. Good intentions, but bad practices! In this sermon Pastor Peter Outar explores the reason for our sinful state and gives the solution - the power of the Cross, where Christ's finished work set us free and the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit who nullifies the law of sin and death. Onward to victory!

Sermon is based on Jesus' words in Luke 13:1-5 - "unless you repent you will likewise perish". We are perishing every day in our daily struggles simply because we do not repent. Repentances is the turning away from sin, a change of heart about sin. We harbor known sin in our life which blocks God's blessing to us and interrupts our relationship with him. It's time to repent.

Sermon based on 1 Corinthians 16:7-9. When God opens a door to a believer in Christ, the enemy will oppose the move of God. How will we see it? Will we fear the opposition or look at the opportunity God has opened for us? Will we trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to walk into what God has ordained for us?
