Cs: Lukáš stál před kolejní budovou.
En: Lukáš stood in front of the dormitory building.

Cs: Všude kolem něj se hemžili studenti.
En: Students swarmed all around him.

Cs: Nejspíš první den nového semestru.
En: Most likely the first day of the new semester.

Cs: Bylo léto a slunce svítilo.
En: It was summer and the sun was shining.

Cs: Vzduch byl plný smíchu a hovorů.
En: The air was filled with laughter and conversation.

Cs: Před ním byly dveře do nového života.
En: In front of him were the doors to a new life.

Cs: Nervózně si přál, aby vše šlo hladce.
En: Nervously, he wished for everything to go smoothly.

Cs: Uvnitř koleje byla jiná atmosféra.
En: Inside the dormitory, the atmosphere was different.

En: She approached him.

Cs: „Vypadáš, že potřebuješ pomoc,“ řekla s úsměvem.
En: "You look like you need help," she said with a smile.

Cs: Lukáš se podíval na ni a nejistě odpověděl: „Ano, jsem trochu ztracený.“
En: Lukáš looked at her and replied uncertainly, "Yes, I'm a bit lost."

Cs: Jana ho zavedla do společenské místnosti.
En: Jana led him to the common room.

Cs: Bylo tam plno studentů, kteří se seznamovali.
En: It was full of students getting to know each other.

Cs: „Neboj se,“ řekla mu.
En: "Don’t worry," she said.

Cs: „Já jsem Jana. Tohle je můj poslední semestr. Vždycky tu najdeš někoho, kdo tě nasměruje.“
En: "I'm Jana. This is my final semester. You will always find someone here to guide you."

Cs: Lukáš se cítil malinko lépe. Ale stále bojoval se svou úzkostí.
En: Lukáš felt a little better but still fought his anxiety.

Cs: Rozhodl se, že se pokusí najít své místo, ať to stojí cokoli.
En: He decided he would try to find his place, no matter what.

Cs: Jana mu také řekla o tom, jak je těžké balancovat studium a hledání práce.
En: Jana also told him about the difficulty of balancing studies and job hunting.

Cs: Oba našli společnou řeč v tom, že mají své obavy.
