The electoral reform group Bersih has proposed new guidelines to curb “incumbency advantage” abuse, and urged the federal government to follow them during the state elections campaign period. Together with Bersih's Chairperson, Thomas Fann, we looked into this guideline can foster a healthier electoral culture, as well as bolster accountability for parties and politicians.
