We anticipate that temptations are imminent and our flesh is weak so we pray for God’s help, for His strength and Spirit to help us be overcomers.

Instead seek first the kingdom of God and those things will be given to you as well.

We may not be called on to make some great sacrifice, but all of us have the opportunity of helping others in thr way of sacrificing ourselves.

The expectations of Jesus are complete surrender & complete trust in Him. Then the good news for us is that the rewards are even greater than what we give up and God’s graciousness is beyond measure.

To truly become a disciple of Christ, you must be willing to give up everything including your family, your friends, and everything you hold dear if necessary!

The church of the Lord is where His story is being lived out and others are being drawn into His Story and together we participate in His mission.

When we are living in the Spirit, we see more clearly with heart aided vision.

By yielding to the Spirit, we can overcome the flesh. The power of the resurrection takes us from where we are into a new existence.
