Today we begin a new sermon series in Acts, Borders and Barriers. In Acts 10:1-33, we are introduced to Cornelius, a Gentile who fears God. He is given a vision by God instructing him to send for the apostle Peter, and just after Peter experiences a strange vision from God himself, three men arrive and he follows them to Cornelius. Cornelius asks Peter to share all that God has commanded.

Pastor Eric shares three points as we work through the text:

1) God’s already at work (vs. 1-8).

2) God’s not done with us yet (vs. 9-23).

3) God is jealous for His Kingdom (vs. 24-33).

Happy Easter! He is risen! In 1 Corinthians 15, we see the apostle Paul defend the truth of the gospel, highlighting the witnesses of Jesus’ resurrection.

1) The Gospel is needed.

2) The Gospel is about Jesus (vs. 2-4).

3) The Gospel is true (vs. 5-8).

4) The Gospel demands a response.

This week, we continue our Easter series Resurrection Power. In Isaiah 52:13-53:12, we see Isaiah’s prophecy of the Suffering Servant, Jesus, and the agony He endured on the cross to save us.

1) Our exalted savior (52:13-15)

2) Our rejected savior (53:1-3)

3) Our needed savior (53:4-6)

4) Our victorious savior (53:10-12)

This week, we continue our Easter series Resurrection Power. In Acts 10, we see a devout man named Cornelius honored for his fear of God. An angel visits him in a vision and commends his prayers and offerings, saying they have been memorialized by God.

3) God captivates unexpecting hearts.

This week, we continue our Easter series Resurrection Power. In Acts 9, we see Peter traveling around the country and proclaiming healing through Christ. Aeneas is healed from his paralysis, and Tabitha is raised from the dead.

This week, we continue our Easter series Resurrection Power. In Acts 9, we see the beginning of Saul’s ministry as he shares the gospel with many in Jerusalem and narrowly escapes being killed by the Jews in both Damascus and Jerusalem.

This week, we start our Easter series Resurrection Power. In Acts 9, we see Saul’s encounter with Jesus that leads to his conversion, and the obedience of Ananias to go to Saul when he was called by God.

This week, we finish our Preaching and Persecution series in Acts. In Acts 8, we see Philip follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to share the gospel with the Ethiopian Eunuch in the desert, and the Ethiopian Eunuch responds in baptism.
