This Sunday we will wrap our study on the book of Exodus. Israel will see the presence of God move from the mountain to the middle of their camp. Their experience with Him has come a long way from Exodus chapter 1! We will look at the final five verses and see how crucial it is for God to be at the center of our lives.

God wants a relationship with you. Leslie Weatherhead called what we can experience with God “a transforming friendship." All of the dramatic actions God took in the book of Exodus were aimed at forging a relationship with His people. Join us this Sunday as we learn from Moses’ transforming friendship with God and what it can teach us about our own relationship with God.

What do you do when you get anxious? Everyone has coping mechanisms for their anxiety. Some are healthy; others are destructive. In Moses’ absence, Israel gets anxious and quickly moves spiritually off-track. Join us Sunday as we learn from the causes of Israel’s anxiety and how Moses leads them through it.

This Sunday we will look at the Hebrew Priests. God commissioned them to be the primary meditators between a holy God and the people of Israel. We will see what they did, why they did it, why they are no longer needed, and why that makes a difference in our Christian life.

After giving Israel liberation, the law, and His loyal love, Yahweh commands that they build the Tabernacle—a portable tent of meeting. God wanted to dwell in their midst. Through its detailed design, God reveals Himself and His holiness. Join us as we more fully appreciate Jesus through what the Tabernacle foreshadows.

In Chapter 24, God seals the Sinai covenant with Israel. This ceremony not only points to the present, but also to the future. This covenant ceremony foreshadows what would come ultimately in the life, death, and resurrection. Are you in a difficult place right now? Does the journey to where God is taking feel like it is taking forever? Do you have hope but it's beginning to wane? This Sunday we will look in the book of Exodus where God reveals His plan to get the Israelites into the promised land. Though it took them years to get there. Though they experienced pain and joy, He still got them there. Christian, take heart. We serve a God who will get us there. Have hope!

This Sunday we will resume our Exodus series by looking at God’s initial instructions for Israel’s worship. The context of these instructions come in the backdrop of the false gods and idols that Israel learned about while in Egypt. God is helping Israel, and us, understand that when it comes to the gods we serve and worship, He has no worthy competition. He is infinitely greater and more valuable than they.
