The Church is God's people - the body of Christ. And as God's people, we have a great responsibility in the world: to carry out God's will and desires here on the earth. How do we all function properly and in sync with one another as the body of Christ? Ephesians 4 gives us great insight into our place in the Body of Christ.

There are lots of things that divide us in the world, but in Ephesians, Paul focuses on what unites us together -- God. By our love for God and his accepting us into his family, we are UNITED! We are different and diverse but united. And that is a beautiful picture to the world around us of how God has created us to live.

Ephesians gives us a big picture view of our place in the church and the church's place in the world. What does God have for us as his people and how do we interact with his world? This week Pastor Aaron Castellanos kicks off our new series 'a study through the book of Ephesians.'

Daniel in the Lions Den is the most familiar story of Daniel's life. We're looking at the miracle of when Jesus shut the mouths of the lions to save Daniel. But the story goes further! Jesus shut the mouths of the lions all around Daniel throughout his life - those who were against him or didnt believe what he did. this is a great picture of how we can live boldly for God no matter the culture around us. Instead of culture changing us, we can change the culture.
