Join us as we begin our Advent series on healing atonement.  We will explore the meaning of Jesus' life and death, especially as the early Christian community understood it for the first 400 years after Jesus' ascension.

From Deuteronomy 30:6 and Jeremiah 31:31-34, we declare the good news that:

Into a world dying from the terminal disease of sin, Jesus comes!  There is HOPE! 

The Great Physician, Jesus Christ, has shared in our diseased humanity, so that we might share in his healed humanity. The Spirit of God is coming to us and the world now, healing and restoring us to new life.

We find ourselves in the middle of a greater Story that gives us meaning, purpose and identity. The beginning of this Story, and glimpses of its conclusion, are recorded in the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures, but there is still more being written.

Scripture can be summed up in 5 Acts and we find ourselves in Act 5 as spirit filled partners with God in his healing and restoration of the world!
