In this final message of our Weight of Glory series, we explore what it means to become Carriers of Glory.

The glory of God is not only something we seek, behold, or encounter — it is something we are called to carry.

Looking at 2 Corinthians 4:5–7, we see that God places His treasure in ordinary, fragile jars of clay so that the world can see that the power comes from Him and not from us.

Humanity was created in the image of God and crowned with glory and honour, but through sin we have fallen short of that glory. The good news is that God does not abandon His vandalised image-bearers. Through Jesus, He restores His image in us and calls us to carry His presence into the world.

The jar is not the point. The treasure is.

May our lives become windows through which others see the goodness and glory of God.

In this sermon, The Holiness of Glory, we continue our series on the glory of God by looking at Isaiah 6:1–8.

When Isaiah encounters the glory of God, heaven does not cry, “Glory, glory, glory.” Heaven cries, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.”

God’s glory is the visible manifestation of His holiness.

From Moses at the burning bush to Isaiah in the throne room, we see that the presence of the Holy One is never casual. God’s holiness reveals who He truly is, exposes what is unclean in us, cleanses us by grace, and sends us into mission.

In Jesus, the Holy God comes near — not to destroy us, but to redeem us. The Holy One touches what is unclean and makes it clean.

When we seek His face, we behold His glory.

When we behold His glory, we encounter His holiness.

And when we encounter His holiness, we are cleansed, transformed, and sent.

What does it mean to pray, “Show me Your glory”?

In Exodus 33, Moses asks one of the boldest prayers in Scripture. But God’s response is surprising. Moses asks to see God’s glory, and God reveals His goodness, His name, His mercy, His compassion, His holiness, and His justice.

In this message, we explore the biblical meaning of glory — the Hebrew word kavod, meaning weight, honour, substance, and significance — and how the glory Moses longed to see is ultimately revealed in Jesus Christ.

Moses was hidden in the cleft of the rock.

We are hidden in Christ.

Through Jesus, we do not come casually, but we come confidently into the presence of God. The glory of God is not merely seen in fire, cloud, or supernatural display, but most clearly in the face of Jesus Christ and at the cross, where holiness and mercy meet.
