As reported in Forbes, international travel to the US is significantly down in the first half of 2025. 1 million fewer people traveled to the US compared to the same period in 2024 a drop of about 3% year over year according to the International Trade Administration. By the end of this year, the US is on track to see 13 million fewer annual international visitors, and in 2025, the US share of global international travel will drop to around 4.2%, which is about half of where it was roughly 20 years ago. With respect to domestic US air travel, we're seeing a more positive trend as domestic travel is up 2% year over year.
