If you’ve been with us less than a year you likely don’t know that every Fall (from mid-November through the end of the year), we invite everyone in our church to give an offering to what we call our special annual Christmas Offering - and all the money raised in this offering goes towards starting new church locations. The proceeds of this year’s offering will specifically go towards helping to launch our new Agawam location.

And since we’ll be referencing this special Christmas Offering through the end of the year I thought it would be both appropriate and helpful to lay a biblical foundation for the giving of an offering. And since you can’t properly understand offerings without understanding the tithe - today we’ll cover both. Ok, we’ve got a lot to cover so let’s dive right in!
